Hi, I'm Florence, the artist behind Trixie's Creations.
Named after my three-legged rescue dog, Trixie, Trixie’s Creations celebrates the joy, personality, and quiet magic that animals bring to our lives.
I create original paper quilling artwork inspired by animals, everyday moments, and the little details that make us smile. Every piece is designed and handcrafted in my Delaware studio using carefully rolled paper and mixed media.
My work has been featured in juried exhibitions throughout Northern Delaware. I was also invited to a solo presentation at The Delaware Contemporary. I’m an active member of the local arts community, serving on the Gallery Exhibitions and Membership Committees at the Newark Arts Alliance. In addition, I teach paper quilling workshops through the Newark Arts Alliance, the Center for the Creative Arts, and the Hockessin Library.
Whether I’m creating a custom pet portrait or an original artwork, my goal is the same: to make something thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and deeply personal. I believe the best artwork captures not just how a pet looks, but something of its personality and the joy it brings to the people who love it.
